The Federation of Women Lawyers in Kenya (FIDA) have condemned a group of Sigor Boys linked to a gang-raping act in Bomet County.
The incident, captured in a viral video, happened in Chebanyi village last December, the police said.
The clip trending as “sigor boys” on X, formerly known as Twitter, shows several men in a dimly lit room sexually assaulting a woman, who is heard screaming.
FIDA-Kenya’s attention has been brought to the unfortunate video, and have seized control of the matter
The Federation shall represent the survivor in court and has called upon the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and the Kenya Police to expedite investigations and ensure all the culprits have been brought to book.
