To actualize the goal of ending SGBV by 2026, FIDA-Kenya launched its Toll-Free line in April 2020 that has recorded over 5,399 SGBV cases. The number of SGBV cases has been on the rise since the onset of COVID-19 thus an increase in the number of victims and survivors seeking legal advise and psychosocial support that we attend to daily.
On Friday 14th of October, we will be hosting our 1st Charity Golf Tournament at the Royal Nairobi Golf Club to commemorate the International Day of the Girl Child and to Celebrate our 37 years since inception.
The theme of the tournament will be “Golfing against GBV in Kenya”. Proceeds raised will support the organization’s effort to end SGBV.
